NAFA offers a diverse range of Diploma programmes in the visual arts, design, media, and performing arts, tailored to nurture creative talents across the Asia-Pacific region. With a strong emphasis on artistic excellence and industry relevance, our curriculum blends traditional techniques with contemporary approaches to empower students with both foundational skills and innovative thinking.

Diploma programmes span three years, during which students develop technical proficiency, creative confidence, and professional readiness. Outstanding Diploma graduates may be eligible for direct entry into Year 2 of a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) programmes within the same discipline.

NAFA’s practice-based academic framework is designed to guide students through progressive stages of learning – from mastering core competencies to cultivating originality and leadership in the arts. Our programmes are aligned with the evolving needs of Singapore’s creative industries, ensuring that graduates are equipped to thrive in dynamic professional environments.

Important Dates

Applications are open from October each year for the following year’s August intake.

International students residing overseas are encouraged to apply as early in August for the following year’s intake for admission to NAFA through the appointed education counsellors, where applicable.

Early Admissions Exercise (EAE)

NAFA has the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) that allows graduating O-Level students, final-year Nitec and Higher Nitec students from the Institute of Technical Education and graduating Integrated Programme (IP)/ International Baccaularette (IB) Year 4 students to apply and receive conditional admission prior to receiving their final grades.
