Our Learning and Development Philosophy
Aligned to both NAFA’s mission of inspiring learning and growth through the arts, and our core value of ‘excellence’, we are committed to supporting your continual learning and development. All employees are encouraged to seize opportunities
to upskill, so that they can perform their job more efficiently and effectively, and in turn, contribute to the academy’s strategic goals and objectives.
Our Learning & Development (L&D) Framework is built on the following principles:
● 70% Experiential Learning (on-the-job training)
● 20% Social Learning (exposure to others)
● 10% Structured Learning (education)
Besides comprehensive on-boarding programmes and on-the-job
training, there are opportunities to participate in work committees, task force projects and job rotations, and various forms of sponsorships are available for continual education and professional development.
We endeavour to provide support
(e.g. programme fee discounts/sponsorships, exam leave/study leave schemes, study loans) and opportunities for you to excel in your roles, meet your career aspirations, and achieve job satisfaction.
