Refund Policy


  1. Refund for Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of Course:

    NAFA will notify the Student within 3 working days upon knowledge of any of the following:

    1. It does not commence the Course on the Course Commencement Date;
    2. It terminates the Course before the Course Commencement Date;
    3. It does not complete the Course by the Course Completion Date;
    4. It terminates the Course before the Course Completion Date;
    5. It has not ensured that the Student meets the course entry or matriculation requirement as set by the organisation stated in Schedule A of Student Contract within any stipulated timeline set by CPE; or
    6. The Student’s Pass application is rejected by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

    The Student should be informed in writing of alternative study arrangements (if any), and also be entitled to a refund of the entire Course Fees and Miscellaneous Fees already paid should the Student decide to withdraw, within seven working days of the above notice.


  2. Refund for Withdrawal Due to Other Reasons:

    If the Student withdraws from the Course for any reason other than those stated in Clause 1 above, NAFA will, within seven working days of receiving the Student’s written notice of withdrawal, refund to the Student an amount based on the refund table stated in Schedule D of Student Contract.


  3. Refund During Cooling-Off Period:

    NAFA will provide the Student with a Cooling-off-Period of seven working days after the date that the Contract has been signed by both parties. The Student will be refunded the highest percentage (based on the refund table stated in Schedule D of Student Contract) of the fees already paid if the Student submits a written notice of withdrawal to NAFA within the Cooling-off Period, regardless of whether the Student has started the course or not.


Refund Scenarios
1st Semester In The 1st Year

100% of the Course Fee, Administrative Fee and Hospitalisation Insurance Fee paid

  1. If Student’s written notice of withdrawal is received within Cooling-off Period, that is, within 7 working days after signing the Contract; or
  2. If Student’s Pass application is rejected by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority; or
  3. The Academy:
    1. does not commence the course on Course Commencement Date
    2. terminates the course before Course Commencement Date
    3. does not complete the course by the Course Completion Date
    4. terminates the course before the Course Completion Date
    5. has not ensured that the student meets the course entry or matriculation requirement as set by the Academy stated in Student Contract within the stipulated timeline set by CPE
90% of the Course Fee paid for the whole semester less
  • Telegraphic Transfer charges (where applicable)

If Student’s written notice of withdrawal is received after Cooling-off Period and within 14 calendar days after the Course Commencement Date.

No Refund If Student’s written notice of withdrawal is received more than 14 calendar days after the Course Commencement Date.
Subsequent Semesters
100% of the Course Fee, Administrative Fee and Hospitalisation Insurance Fee paid less
  • any outstanding payment due and payable by the Student to NAFA
  • Telegraphic Transfer charges (where applicable)

If Student’s written notice of withdrawal is received more than 14 calendar days before the Semester Commencement Date.
90% of the Course Fee paid for the whole semester less
  • any outstanding payment due and payable by the Student to NAFA
  • Telegraphic Transfer charges (where applicable)
If Student’s written notice of withdrawal is received up to 14 calendar days after the Semester Commencement Date.
No Refund If Student’s written notice of withdrawal is received more than 14 calendar days after the Semester Commencement Date.

Note:

  1. Refundable Miscellaneous Fees refers to Miscellaneous Fees paid pursuant to Clause 1.3 and which are refundable as indicated in Schedule C of the student contract

 

ONE-SEMESTER MODULE/ ONE-TERM MODULE

Note:

  1. Aside from the normal voluntarily withdrawal request put up by the applicants, the above Refund Policy is also applicable when the Student is expelled from NAFA or withdrawal from the course for any reason.
  2. If the student’s pass application is rejected by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), student will receive full refund of the course fee, administrative fee and hospitalization fee paid to NAFA.
  3. The Semester Commencement date is the date of the first Term of the semester.
  4. Refundable Miscellaneous Fees refer to Miscellaneous Fees which are paid and refundable as indicated in Miscellaneous Fees Table.
  5. NAFA reserves the right to claim against the Student and/or parent/guardian for any balance outstanding payment due and payable.
