NAC Arts Scholarship (Diploma)

The NAC Arts Scholarship aims to nurture outstanding individuals to contribute to the arts and cultural development in Singapore. As future leaders of the arts and culture sector, Scholars will be game changers to push artistic boundaries and lead the sector to create positive impact for the Singapore community through the arts.

In partnership with President’s Challenge, the NAC Arts Scholarship (Diploma) enables young artistic talents to pursue their aspirations in the arts, especially those from less advantaged backgrounds.

Application Requirements

  • Singapore citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents enrolled in full-time Diploma programmes at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore (UAS) as listed below:

    • Diploma in Dance
    • Diploma in Music
    • Diploma in Music Teaching
    • Diploma in Theatre (English Drama)
    • Diploma in Theatre (Mandarin Drama)
    • Diploma in Arts Management
    • Diploma in Fine Art
    • Diploma in Art Teaching

  • Possess exemplary artistic achievements, good academic and co-curricular activities (CCAs) records, leadership potential, strong interpersonal skills and good conduct.

  • Applicants with financial needs may be considered for award.

Funding Support
The scholarship will support full tuition fees, compulsory fees and living allowance (to cover book fees, arts and transport allowance, meals). The scholarship will be for the full duration of studies during the entire term of the scholarship, subject to meeting renewal requirements annually.

NAC Arts Scholarship (Diploma) scholars should not take up other tuition fee subsidies, scholarships or bursaries.

The NAC Arts Scholarship (Diploma) allows for mid-term forward funding but does not cover retrospective funding for previous terms/years.
