Fee Protection Scheme

NAFA adopts a mandatory Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) to protect the paid fees of both local and international students for RCM conferred Master Degree programmes. The Undergraduate programmes, Diploma programmes and Nafa Foundation Programme offered by NAFA are funded by Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE) and exempted from the Fee Protection Scheme under the Edutrust requirements of the Committee for Private Education (CPE).

NAFA has appointed Etiqa Insurance Pte Ltd as our FPS insurance provider. Under the FPS insurance scheme, students’ fees will be insured by the insurer pre-assigned by NAFA. If the institution is unable to continue operating, the protection scheme protects the unconsumed programme fees paid by students.

More details of the FPS can also be found in the FPS Instruction Manual, available at www.ssg.gov.sg/cpe/pei.html.

Medical Insurance

All NAFA students in the NAFA Foundation Programme (NFP), Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree programmes are covered under a group medical insurance scheme that includes Hospital & Surgical coverage (GHS) and Personal Accident coverage (GPA).

The GHS plan covers the necessary and reasonable medical expenses incurred as a result of hospitalization and/or surgery arising from illness or injury, as charged in B2 ward in Singapore Government / Singapore Government Restructured Hospitals and up to $30,000 per policy year.

The GPA serves as a protection against death or permanent disablement resulting from accidental causes.

Please call the Office of Student Care at 6512 6140 or email [email protected] for enquiries regarding medical insurance.
