Bachelor's Degree Admissions

As one of Singapore’s most established and largest arts institutions, NAFA offers a diverse range of bachelor’s degree programmes in fine art, design, media, music, dance, and theatre, tailored to meet the evolving demands of the creative industries.

Important Dates

Applications are open from October each year for the following year’s August intake.

International students residing overseas are encouraged to apply as early in August for the following year’s intake for admission to NAFA through the appointed education counsellors, where applicable.

Overseas Representative

For local applicants applying for BA (Hons) Design Practice and BA (Hons) Fine Art:

Interviews for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents will be scheduled between end-January 2026 and end-March 2026 and application outcomes will be announced progressively from February to April 2026.

For other programmes, interviews will be scheduled every month from November 2025 onwards. Please refer to the respective programme requirements for more details.

Returning National Servicemen

Thank you for your service and contribution to our nation. Academic places offered to NSmen will be deferred till after the completion of your full-time National Service (NS).

Singapore Citizens and PRs who are required to fulfil their NS may apply within the stipulated application period. Successful applicants will have a place reserved until they complete their full-time NS.

If you have accepted our offer whilst serving your NS, we will reserve a place in the accepted programme* for you. This will allow you to commence with your studies once you have fulfilled your NS obligation.

^*Note: Not applicable for bachelor’s degree programmes from the School of Music
