The Student Exchange Programme (SEP) invites students to spend one or two semesters at a partner institution, typically overseas, while enrolled at your home institution and earning credits towards your degree graduation. Through exchange, you can experience a different learning environment, encounter new cultures and creative practices, and develop the confidence, adaptability and intercultural awareness valued in the arts and creative industriesm, and ultimately enhancing your employability.

Find the right pathway:

  • Inbound Exchange: for students from partner institutions who wish to spend a semester at NAFA in Singapore.
  • Outbound Exchange: for NAFA students who wish to spend a semester at one of NAFA’s or UAS’ partner institutions overseas.
  • Study Abroad Programme: for students whose home institution does not have a formal exchange agreement with NAFA. Tuition fees apply. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

Fees

Exchange students are not required to pay tuition fees to host institution while on exchange. Instead, you continue to pay school fees to your home institution. Please note that other fees may apply, such as administrative fee, health services fees, visa-related costs, and insurance fees.

Students whose home institutions do not have a formal student exchange partnership with the host institution will be considered under the Study Abroad Programme, for which tuition fees are payable. For more information on the Study Abroad Programme, please contact [email protected].

Credit Transfer

Credits earned during the Student Exchange Programme are transferrable back to your home institution, subject to approval, and count towards your degree progression.

Each NAFA credit = 10 study hours (including contact and independent study hours, which vary depending on the module).
