This exhibition brings together artists from Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar, to reflect how we perceive the world differently. Across sight, sound, touch, and taste, the works open forms of understanding that begin in the senses. The exhibition moves from creative representations of heritage to reflections on contemporary social issues, examining and reimagining the traditional and the modern, with particular attention to emerging practices in the region. Worlds in motion invites audiences to experience Southeast Asian art as something living and shared, open to all and encountered differently by each.
