Delve into the deep mythology and cultural phenomenology of a highly significant regional motif in a thought-provoking public installation. Centered around the ubiquitous banana tree and its distinctive flower, this conceptual exhibition examines how this native plant has been intertwined with local celebrations, everyday domestic routines, and spiritual anxieties across lands separated by vast oceans. Serving as an evocative ethnographic survey, the presentation traces the shared maritime links and primordial connections that bind coastal communities across the Southeast Asian seas, translating botanical geography into an enduring record of our lands.
