Between Tradition & Tomorrow: The Soul of Bali Reimagined wraps up NAFA's first-ever Southeast Asian Arts Regional Project that took place in Bali over two weeks in June. Led by the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts, the exhibition features the creative outcomes of 23 FOAD students, drawing inspiration from their hands-on experience in traditional Balinese practices and exploration of sacred sites.
Moving beyond art as an object, the exhibition considers artistic practices as expressions of spiritual beliefs, cultural memory and community, and examines how art, culture, ritual and storytelling are woven into everyday life.
