The Arts X Health @ NAFA-UAS showcase is a satellite event of Healing Arts Singapore, brought to you by the Research Division, Special Projects Unit, and the Faculty of Art and Design, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore (UAS).
At NAFA, UAS, we believe arts play a vital role in creating healing environments, offering opportunities for meaningful connections, and helping to shape policy. Through creative practice, collaboration, and research, we actively explore the health and well-being needs of our communities. We partner with healthcare institutions, academic bodies, and community organisations to co-develop innovative, evidence-informed approaches to help people thrive at every stage of life. Our partners include Assisi Hospice, St Luke’s Eldercare, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, SingHealth, Yeo Boon Khim Mind Science Centre, National University of Singapore, Singapore Cancer Society, University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine, and Jameel Arts and Health Lab at NYU Steinhardt.
