Introduction

This course is designed for learners seeking to acquire fundamental skills to integrate narrative into Digital Video Design. Learners will be able to evaluate and interpret different styles with the goal of identifying themes and procedures from their own ideas. With an understanding of industry needs, learners will be introduced to the application of design software into the video and motion platform.

Module 1 - Digital Video Graphics (8 sessions x 3 hours)

This module enables learners to design their media assets in video format. They will gain knowledge and skills to create meaningful moving imagery, from conceptualisation to implementation using a video editing software. At the end of the module, they will be able to create a short pictorial collage video to promote an event, product or service.

Module 2 - Digital Motion Graphics (8 sessions x 3 hours)

This module provides learners with the opportunity to understand the process of implementing graphics to motion. Through weekly exercises and software application, learners will conceptualise graphics in a thoughtful and innovative manner and create graphic montage in motion.

Applicants must be 17 years old and above.

Course Prerequisite

  • Applicants are required to have basic IT knowledge and be comfortable with operating personal computers and using the internet.

SkillsFuture Credit
All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. Refund of Fees

Withdrawal within 14 days before the course commencement date Course fee^ will be refunded after deduction of S$107.00 as administrative charges.
Withdrawal on or after course commencement date
No refund will be given.
^Registration fees and miscellaneous fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation/ Postponement

  • NAFA reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course without prior notice.
    In the event that the class is unable to proceed due to unforeseen circumstances, NAFA will process a full refund of the course fees.

Withdrawal/ Deferment/ Transfer

  • Withdrawal or deferment requests should be made in writing with supporting relevant documents (if any) to Centre for Lifelong Education. Request for deferment is subject to approval.
  • No deferment is allowed once the course has commenced.
  • No transfer of course upon registration.

Replacement of Classes

  • There is strictly no replacement lesson should the participant absent himself/herself from the course.
