Yee Noh’s work engages with the less privileged and aims to provide creative solutions. hughut is one such socially-oriented project to produce sleek cushion covers by providing sewing skill training to unskilled women above 40 years old and of a lower educational background. The concept of the project encompasses a campaign aspect, in addition to the actualisation of a website, animation, production of 12 cushion covers, a brochure, a series of newsletters, packaging, an annual report, a stockholder’s president letter as well as a feature interview of hughut’s CEO.
Yee Noh brings to the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts her directorial experiences as Assistant Art Director of Times Periodical (former SPH) and Creative Director of Eno Design Singapore.
