Higher Education Bursary
The *Higher Education Bursary (formerly known as MOE Bursary) is funded by the Government (Ministry of Education) to provide financial assistance to students from the lower to middle income groups. This is part of the Government’s commitment to ensure that no able students are deterred by the cost of post-secondary education due to financial circumstances.
* The Higher Education Bursary (formerly known as MOE Bursary) has been renamed and quanta revised with effect from AY2020/2021.
Eligibility Criteria
- Singapore citizens
- Full-time ^Diploma or BMus (Hons) students
- Students must be on MOE Tuition Grant (TG)
- Gross Monthly Household Per-capita Income (PCI) between $1,001 - $2,250 or Gross Monthly Household Income (GHI) between $4,001 to $9,000
- Students who are not in receipt of the Higher Education Bursary or Higher Education Community Bursary in the same academic year
^ Sponsored students from the Diploma in Art Teaching and Diploma in Music Teaching are not eligible to apply.

Tier 2: $1,350
How to Apply
The first round of application for Academic Year 2021/2022 will commence in March 2021, in the same application submitted for the NAFA’s in-house Scholarships, Merit Awards and Bursaries.
