Wong Kron Joo is Director of the Finance Office at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore. He provides strategic financial leadership to support the institution’s long-term sustainability and growth, advising senior management and the Board on financial planning, governance and the implications of strategic initiatives.
A Chartered Accountant with postgraduate qualifications in business and management, Mr Wong has more than two decades of corporate and management experience across the investment holding, healthcare, hospitality and education sectors.
At NAFA, he oversees financial operations, investments, procurement and internal controls, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. He also works closely with academic and administrative divisions to align financial resources with institutional priorities and assess new programmes, projects and partnerships.
Under his leadership, the Finance Office promotes prudent stewardship, accountability and financial responsibility across NAFA. The institution has received three Charity Transparency Awards in recognition of its standards of financial reporting, disclosure and governance.
