Jerry Soo is a Faculty Mentor at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore. A multidisciplinary designer and educator, he brings nearly 30 years of experience spanning the building, exhibition and media industries. His work has centred on teaching, curriculum design and educational research, with a strong commitment to ensuring learning remains relevant, engaging and responsive to students' evolving needs.
Jerry's professional practice has been recognised through the Singapore Furniture Industries Council Furniture Design Competition. He has also participated in faculty exhibitions, served as a guest judge at industry events and was a Council member on the Interior Design Confederation Singapore.
In 2024, he completed a second master’s degree in Special and Inclusive Education, strengthening his interests in student support, inclusive practices and the overall student experience. As Faculty Mentor, he also supports students through academic and pastoral care mentoring.
Beyond academia and design, Jerry is active in volunteer and community work, including the National Library Board’s KidsREAD initiative and Outdoor Sports Kakis, where he engages with children and individuals with special needs.
