Niniek Natalia Himawan is Head of Admissions at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, where she leads the Academy’s admissions and student recruitment strategy in support of its academic and institutional priorities. She provides strategic direction in the development of admissions policies, enhancement of outreach efforts, and the recruitment of a diverse and high-quality student body aligned with NAFA’s commitment to arts education and creative excellence.
With over 20 years of experience in student recruitment and programme marketing, Niniek has contributed to the advancement of NAFA’s positioning within the higher arts education landscape. Her work encompasses the formulation of data-informed recruitment strategies, the strengthening of partnerships with schools and stakeholders, and the continuous improvement of student engagement and admissions processes.
Prior to her current appointment, she held roles in programme marketing and student recruitment, bringing extensive knowledge of the education sector. Niniek remains committed to supporting students in making informed educational decisions and fostering access to meaningful pathways in the arts.
