Ivan Chan is the Deputy Registrar and Head of Student Services at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, with close to 30 years of experience in the education sector. His work has focused primarily on student life and services, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping a holistic student experience across areas such as student engagement, wellness, and scholarships and financial support.
He has led and contributed to the organisation of major academy initiatives, including the planning and delivery of multiple Convocation ceremonies, and serves as a member of the Scholarships and Financial Aid Panel, supporting the development and governance of student funding initiatives.
A Sociology graduate of the Singapore University of Social Sciences (formerly SIM University), Ivan brings a deep understanding of students’ diverse needs and remains committed to expanding access to opportunities that enable them to thrive throughout their education journey.
