3 and 4 January 2019
NAFA Campus 1, B4-18E

This third installation of 'Teaching Southeast Asia' workshop conducted by Dr Bridget Tracy Tan, Director of Institute of Southeast Asian Arts (ISEAA) & Art Galleries at NAFA, aimed to deepen the connection between ISEAA and the Academic Schools by providing context for thinking about Southeast Asia specific to various disciplines through engaging history and heritage of art and craft of the region.

The outcome of this workshop saw a common set of terminology in thinking about Southeast Asia for academic staff and practitioners, as well as establishing a knowledge base from which academic staff and practitioners are empowered to deliver and enhance their respective teachings on how Southeast Asia is applicable to their own disciplines.
