White Space - Artists' Interaction Session

3 May 2019
The Ngee Ann Kongsi Galleries 1 & 2

In conjunction with the exhibition entitled ‘White Space’, the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts (ISEAA) invited the three exhibiting artists, Phonepaseth Keosomsak, Sirintorn Haribhitak and Warapan Wongtongdee from the Master of Arts in Cultural Management Programme at Chulalongkorn University to participate in a dialogue with NAFA students on their art practice, research and the exhibition process.

The artists introduced their works to Fine Art, Art Teaching and Arts Management students through a sequence of presentation, guided tours and Q&A. During the sharing session, heritage and history was explored through Keosomsak's drawings and photographs from Laos, touching upon the experiences of journeying through memory and time through Wongtongdee's paintings, and Haribhitak’s memories of India that inspired her artworks.

The entire session was translated and moderated by Akira Boonpakorn from NAFA’s Fine Art Programme.
