In celebration of the upcoming Christmas season, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) collaborated with public transport operators, SBS Transit (SBST) and SMRT, to adorn Christmas-themed trains, buses and stations, spreading festive cheer throughout the public transport network. Themed stations, trains and buses are part of LTA's Move In Groove (MIG) programme, which aims to enhance the commuting experience during festive seasons and infuse vibrancy into the public transport network.

In an effort to strengthen engagement with schools, LTA partnered with students from NAFA to co-create this year's campaign visuals. The theme focuses on sharing tips on sustainability and environmental consciousness during the festive season. The students' creative contributions seamlessly incorporated public transport with interesting facts and figures, highlighting how green commuting practices contribute to environmental sustainability. Three students from the Diploma in Illustration Design with Animation programme played a pivotal role in crafting the visually stunning elements for this meaningful community project!

From 29 November 2023 to 2 January 2024, commuters can immerse themselves in these themed trains on five MRT lines—one train each on the North-East Line (NEL), Downtown Line (DTL), Circle Line (CCL), Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL), and North-South Line and East-West Line (NSEWL). The campaign also extends to MRT interchange stations such as Paya Lebar, Buona Vista, Serangoon, Woodlands and Dhoby Ghaut, where station walls and concourse pillars are adorned with similar festive designs to welcome commuters during their transit. Themed buses that traverse areas within the Central region of Singapore and heartlands like Bedok, Boon Lay, Clementi, Choa Chu Kang and Jurong, complement the themed trains and stations for a more extensive islandwide coverage.
