Iskander has extensive experience working in the performing arts in Singapore. Trained in both Technical Theatre and Arts Management, he has worked across multiple genres from theatre to events and actively practices his craft as a Lighting Designer.
His works in 2019 include projects for Dance Ensemble Singapore, Era Dance Theatre, NUS Centre for the Arts and Singapore Grand Prix Pte Ltd.
Iskander has also taught at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic and LASALLE College of the Arts.
Iskander’s research interest includes workplace health and safety, in particular within the event and entertainment industry.
