Ang Chiat has close to 18 years of teaching experience and 10 years of experience as a creative practitioner with international advertising agencies. He is an eminent advocate of Graphic Design, Visual Communication and Advertising Studies.
He was accredited with awards from 4AS Singapore Creative Circle, The Mobius Advertising Awards USA and SPH Best Advertisement Showcase. He had also been a guest speaker, judge and advisor for various design seminars, awards and conferences in Singapore, China, London and Australia.
Ang Chiat has been a member of Taiwan Poster Design Association since 2002. He is invited as an overseas designer to participate in the poster design exhibition in Korea every year as part of the culture exchange programme.
He was a member of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Singapore (4AS) in 1998 and he was also one of the members who founded the Students Crowbar Awards which started in 2001.
