NAFA celebrates 85 years of leading the arts towards a bold new future! In 2023, the academy has lined up a year-long schedule of celebratory events, art exhibitions, as well as the launch of a refreshed brand that marks our next era of success and growth.
The celebrations will kick off with the academy’s first ever virtual fitness challenge, Arts in Motion. The month-long fundraiser encourages corporations and individuals to walk, run or cycle. All proceeds go towards the NAFA Development Fund to enhance the campus facilities and resources.
Jointly organised with the NAFA Alumni Association, we also present the 庆 Celebration exhibition, as part of NAFA Hui Chun 挥春 2023. The exhibition celebrates the festive Lunar New Year and the academy’s strong legacy, featuring art pieces from over 20 renowned alumni and distinguished artists. Guests will be treated to a live calligraphy and painting session. The works will be for sale via an online gallery, with proceeds going towards the NAFA Development Fund.
The concluding centerpiece of the NAFA’s anniversary celebrations is the 85th Anniversary Fundraising Gala Dinner. Guests will be treated to an evening of merriment and delectable dining. The night unfolds with an epic multi-sensory immersive arts experience by NAFA talents; showcasing our young artists and musicians’ quality training at the academy. Additionally, a charity auction of original works from prominent NAFA artists will be held in support of NAFA Development Fund.
