NAFA Alumni Relations Office (ARO) organised its pilot Career Networking Mixer titled Ctrl+C, Ctrl+Uh-Oh: The Art of Accidental Plagiarism on 27 May 2025. The event was open to all NAFA alumni, staff, students, industry partners, and the public.

- Chatham House Rule applied, due to the sensitivity of the cases discussed.
The audience shared that they gained a deeper understanding of designers' legal rights and the importance of originality and ethical practices. They learned about copyright, plagiarism, and legal considerations in art and design, especially in today’s digital age.
Invited Speakers:Hubert Loi is a Design Strategist and Educator bridging design, business, and technology. He leads Strategic Design in Tech, driving UX research, innovation, and digital transformation across B2C, B2B, and B2G sectors, crafting impactful narratives that engage stakeholders and shape future-focused, human-centric solutions.
Adrian Heng, founder of SpaceOne Interior Design Consultancy, is a multi-award-winning designer with 25 years of experience. Renowned for timeless, client-focused work, he shares insights on his YouTube channel The Design Maven and supports NAFA as a mentor, shaping the future of interior design in Singapore and beyond.
Dr. Ryan Su is a Singapore qualified lawyer and Counsel at OC Queen Street LLC, focusing on art and the law. He holds an LLB (Hons.), an LLM in International Dispute Resolution & Economic Law (Lond.) and a PhD in international dispute resolution in the arts. He is an accredited mediator with the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (New York) and a panel arbitrator with the Court of Arbitration for Art (The Hague). Ryan was awarded the Patron of the Arts Award in 2017 and 2020, and the Patron of Heritage Award in 2020 by the Singapore Government.
