Held over the weekend of 22 and 23 January 2022, The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) ushered in the Lunar New Year with Hui Chun “挥春” 2022. This year’s exhibition features 65 art pieces from over 30 artists, including choice entries from the NAFA Chinese Art Competition, Chinese Ink Painting and Calligraphy pieces from the Hui Chun Collection, as well as selections from the NAFA Collection.

Distinguished artists such as Mr Stephen Leong, Mr Sim Pang Liang and Mr Fan Shao Hua joined in person to view their artworks on display, alongside Cultural Medallion recipients Lim Tze Peng (Red Flowers in Spring) and Tan Kian Por (Willow); and renowned NAFA alumni Aw Tee Hong (Trengganu Street) and Poon Lian (House in a Bamboo Forest and The Shore in Evening), 2020’s Ngee Ann Artist of the Year.

These works are up for sale with proceeds going towards the NAFA Education Fund to assist students in need of financial support. The artworks are also available for purchase on our online gallery: https://bit.ly/3zNBoBi, which runs from 15 January to 28 February.

Thank you for your support and another successful event!
