Pet Portrait with Acrylic Painting

(5 sessions X 3 hours)

This course is perfect for animal lovers eager to combine their passion for pets with the joy of artistic expression. Through step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn essential acrylic painting techniques to create lifelike and expressive pet portraits—capturing the unique personality and charm of your beloved companions.

Course Content:
  • Apply tonal values to create a monochromatic painting.
  • Work with a simplified colour palette using complementary colours to create harmony and balance in the portrait.
  • Use fundamental acrylic painting techniques, including colour mixing, layering, and blending, to create a pet portrait.
  • Render fur textures, eyes, and facial details with precision, capturing the unique characteristics of the pet.
  • Produce two pet portrait paintings- one rendered in monochrome and one rendered with a limited palette, that convey depth and expressive details and reflect the artist’s personal style.

A digital certificate will be issued upon successful course completion, which requires a minimum attendance rate of 75%.

Please note that no replacement classes are offered for missed lessons.

Once the course has commenced, no refunds will be issued for any withdrawal requests.
