Trinity Grade 5 Class


The Trinity Grade 5 class trains students to take the Trinity College of London Grade 5 Individual Exam upon completion.

The sessions are held per semester from January to May or July to November.

  • Student must meet an attendance record of 80% for every 10 lessons.
  • Student must pass both exams in order to advance to the next level.
  • There will be no make-up lessons for missed classes.
  • Student must complete the Performance Ensemble Class and upon selection.
  • New students of age 10-11 with some drama training may register for an audition to be selected into the course.

Payment Terms

  • Payment via cheque and cashier's order should be crossed and made payable to the "Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts". Please write your name, NRIC/passport number and contact number on the reverse side of the cheque/cashier's order.
  • Payment of fees should be made prior to the commencement of each term or semester as stipulated in the fee structure.

  • If payment is not made in full by the due date, a penalty charge will be assessed at S$15.00 per month.

Refund of Fees

  • Registration Fee I Audition Fee is non-refundable.
  • Fees are only refundable under the following conditions:
    • Full refund if the class is unable to proceed due to unforeseen circumstances
    • After deducting S$53.50 if withdrawal is made within 14 days before the commencement of the semester/term*
    • After deducting 1 month's tuition fees or S$107 .00, whichever is higher, if withdrawal is made within 14 days from the commencement of the semester/term*
    • Fees are non-refundable for withdrawal after 14 days from the commencement of semester/term*

Registration for this course begins in early May and early November for the July and January intakes respectively. Please visit our website in end April and end October for enrolment details.

Applicants must meet requirements and pass audition.

Enrolment Steps

  1. Contact the Junior Music Department via phone or email for any queries pertaining to admission or registration.
  2. Apply in-person with a copy of child’s birth certificate, a passport-sized photo and relevant certificates if any at Junior Music Department during registration period, which are in early May and early November.
  3. Payment for audition fee is to be made in cheque payable to "Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts".
  4. Upon successful registration, the child will be given a date/time to attend an audition usually in third week of May or November.
