Chinese Instruments Program

Introduction

This program has been divided into 4 stages – Preparatory, Grade 1 to 4, Grade 5 to 9 and Diploma.

Besides practical class, students are required to take theory lessons till they have attained their Grade 5 Theory music certification.

Students are required to sit for internal examinations conducted half-yearly to monitor the student’s progress and to take the external Graded Examinations for Chinese Instruments.

Students of Grade 5-9 and Diploma classes are required to perform in public concerts and participate in national or international competitions.

Each student is required to perform at least twice per semester at masterclasses.
