Jung began his career as a Visual Merchandiser with a well-known local fashion company in Korea.
Jung believes that good space provides emotional value such as small moments of happiness, surprise and excitement - the little stories that are hidden in everyday life.
He has participated extensively in architectural projects in New York and Middle East with world-leading architectural firms such as Perkins Eastman Architects P.C (2005-2009). His diverse portfolio includes worldwide well-known hospitality projects for Buddha Bar New York 2008, Cielo 2009, Soho Hudson Hotel 2009 and Park Hyatt Dubai 2009, as well as corporate interior projects for GE, UBS, and Swiss Army. Various cultural and working experiences that he has gained will provide the vital international resources and exposure for the students.
Jung’s research interests include the inception and application of architectural design, interior spaces and digital architecture.
