Biography

Sebastian is an artist who graduated from the University of Glasglow with a Master of Research in Creative Practices and Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Fine Art.

In the last five years, Sebastian’s works were showcased in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia, and China. Some recent exhibitions include The Royal Scottish Academy Open Exhibition, The Royal Scottish Academy New Contemporaries, The 118th Society of Scottish Artists Annual Exhibition and Pingyao International Photography Festival. His works were exhibited at The Royal Scottish Academy on seven different occasions, including the annual The Royal Scottish Academy Open Exhibition and The Society of Scottish Artists Annual Exhibition. He is a receiver of The Royal Scottish Academy Latimer Award, The Royal Glasgow Institute New Graduate Prize, and was selected for The Royal Scottish Academy New Contemporaries in 2016.

Sebastian was also a guest lecturer and speaker at City of Glasgow College, The Royal Scottish Academy, Mount Florida Studios (Glasgow) and The University of the West of Scotland. His research interests inquire the (in)commensurability in East and West philosophical concepts, particularly the relations between Heideggerian and Daoist metaphysics.

Sebastian is based in Singapore and is a member of Society of Scottish Artists.
