Biography

Celine graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with the Best Graduate Award from BA(Hons) 3D Design: New Practice in 2014.

In 2016, Celine set up Fraction Design Studio , and has since worked with Xtra, Bolon and Panelogue for the annual anchor design event in Singapore Design Week - Singaplural. She has also exhibited in Korea for KOFURN in 2018, showcasing her first collection on an international platform.

Fraction has also exhibited in International Furniture Fair Singapore (IFFS), alongside international design talents under “Design STARS”. In 2016, Fraction’s collection ‘Hide and Seek’, a collaboration with Playground Ragdolls, won a bronze award at the International Design Awards.

As an educator, Celine’s focus is on creating an inclusive environment for peer learning, where creative minds can positively collaborate and challenge each other critically. She believes that design education should follow industry benchmarks, and is currently facilitating courses at the Singapore Furniture Industries Council Institute.
