Mr Alvin Koh majored in English and Art at NTU NIE and has always been interested in teaching, performing, writing and supporting the arts. He has worked under Dr. Kai Eng in Fish, under the Director's Lab programme in 2014, which received good reviews, and had performed and exhibited his paintings in venues like the Esplanade, Victoria Concert Hall and Artyfart Gallery. One of his paintings was selected as part of a permanent collection in the prestigious Xu Bei Hong Art Research Musuem in China. He has also written an educational kit for a Nokia Art exhibition, and has reviewed opera and vocal performances for The Mad Scene, a classical music blog.
As a teacher, Mr. Alvin Koh teaches English at different levels (from primary to tertiary) for MOE and private institutions like UNLV and Creative Horizons. He also teaches courses in Mindmapping, vocal production, visual arts and speed reading for companies such as ECA Enrichment, as well as Music Solutions in various schools. He also conducted some classes for the gifted programme at RGPS.
