Ee Sock joined Design Incubation Centre after graduating and worked with the team on various projects such as d.lab and design thinking workshops.
Her design Ssh Lamp, featured in UK ICON magazine, travelled as part of the collection “Objects around the Tablescapes” to Maison & Objet in Paris 2010.
Roly Poly, an emotive interactive device that was an outcome from the Robots 2.0 workshop that she led, was eventually selected to be part of MOMA’s Talk to Me exhibit in 2011.
In 2014, she founded Utter Studio with the vision of sharing her inspirations and knowledge. Her curriculum at the studio is heavily influenced by Dr Betty Edward’s work, as well as her own training as a designer. Since founding the studio, she has encouraged multiple young individuals to experience transformational changes in their way of seeing the world around them, through studio sessions and outdoor workshops.
Her stint at YongJieyu Studio lent her some insights into interior design, window display design and branding. At Supermama, she had a glimpse of design retail, curation works and entrepreneurship.
Her ensuing exposure at Art Loft allowed her to sharpen her ability to teach and simplify complex subjects to young audiences. At Utter Studio, Ee Sock works with clients of all ages and backgrounds, to introduce them to art and design.
