Amanda is a graduate from LASALLE College of the Arts’ Acting Programme.

In 2011, she trained with the Saratoga International Theater Institute (SITI Company) in New York. The following year, she was invited to perform under the Kevin Spacey Foundation in in the same city. In 2014, she went to Japan to be trained with the Suzuki Company of Toga.

In Singapore, Amanda has worked with the Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) in Shakespeare in the Park's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream as Mustardseed and Macbeth as one of the three witches. Also with SRT, Hello/Goodbye as Amanda, The Jungle Book as Kaa/Girl, Chicken in Bear and Chicken Get Ready for School, Campari D'Cruz in Fried Rice Paradise, and Pinocchio the Musical.

Other selected theatre credits include Normal by Checkpoint Theatre as Lynette Ang, The Last Bull: A Life in Flamenco also with Checkpoint Theatre as part of SIFA 2016, Pandemic with UK company Slung Low as part of SIFA 2012, Liao Zhai Rocks! with The Theatre Practice, National Broadway Company by TheatreWorks, Boom, Sisters: the untold stories of the sister's islands, Everything but The Brain by Jean Tay with Sight Lines Entertainment, and K (变形记) in Shanghai with Toy Factory Productions.

Film and TV credits include Season 1, 2 and 3 of ongoing Junction Tree as Sofia, as well as NHK Japan's Basic English for Adults Season 3 and NHK Japan Wildlife Here Comes Darwin!

Amanda was also in Hongbao's & Kisses by Wee Li Lin, a MediaCorp TV series on Okto Channel entitled The Band and has also hosted two sports programmes HOW 2 and Sportszine. She is currently being represented by Artiste-E.

Apart from the stage and TV, Amanda is a voice-over artist for various companies including Osim, AIA, MacDonald's and SK-II.
