I had very encouraging lecturers who taught me how to work towards my goal, realizing my own potential. The best piece of advice I was given is to dream big, work hard and stay humble.
Feon Koh received her Diploma in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising in 2002. During her studies, she interned for a prestigious local magazine as a fashion stylist. Soon after her diploma, she worked as a visual merchandiser at Isetan Singapore. She took care of both the windows and in-store displays for multiple labels, and Spanish fashion brand, Mango. She then pursued her degree in Fashion Marketing & Management.
After her degree, Feon joined Prada Singapore as a senior visual merchandiser. Two years later, with her extensive experience and passion in fashion, she moved to Asia’s fashion capital, Hong Kong, as a visual merchandising manager for Miu Miu. She spent almost 4 years in Hong Kong taking care of the Asia Pacific market. Feon is currently back in Singapore and is a visual merchandising manager at Saint Laurent Paris (YSL) where she organises trainings and oversees store displays for the South East Asian market. She gets to travel to Paris for fashion shows. In 2015, she joined dolce and gabbana as the Visual Merchandising Manager for the South East Asian region.
She was inspired to be a visual merchandiser as it is creative and a useful commercial skill. She also relishes gauging the effect her displays have on consumers. Most importantly, she LOVES fashion.
