Arron Teo is a dedicated educator with more than 10 years’ experience in art & photography teaching, and is currently a part-time lecturer at NAFA sharing his knowledge on Digital Media & Photography. He has been invited to conduct photography workshops for MOE art teachers at the Singapore Teachers’ Academy for the aRts since 2014.
Arron’s photographs have been awarded, exhibited and published locally and internationally. His works have been featured in various photobooks and magazines. He recently ended a six-year photography collaboration with Singapore Art Gallery Guide, which showcased his photo-documentary works monthly.
Arron enjoys photographing people and lifestyle events in his photo-documentary style. He is also commissioned by celebrities and corporate organizations for portraits and overseas photo-documentary projects.
Arron was named one of the seven artists to watch by Prestige magazine in September 2007. His photographs have won awards, including the First Prize in the Singapore Police Academy Photography Competition in 2005; and an Honourable Mention at the Everyman Photo Contest, USA, in 2004.
