At ART SG 2026 in Singapore, CGTN hosted a special dialogue titled “When Classics Inspire,” examining how traditional aesthetics are being reinterpreted in contemporary art, digital exhibitions and storytelling. Mrs Tan-Soh Wai Lan, President of NAFA, spoke about the value of digital experiences for expanding access to art while also emphasising the enduring importance of physical artworks and immersive, in-person encounters in art appreciation. Her comments highlighted how digital and physical art experiences can complement each other in deepening engagement with traditional aesthetics in contemporary contexts.
