Visitors can look forward to the themed Fashion for Dementia, fashion show which features a collaboration between four groups of final-year NAFA Fashion Business Management students and SingHealth Community Hospitals, taking place on 29 May.
“TGE 2025 celebrates the innovative spirit of our graduates from Fine Art, 3D Design, Design & Media, and Fashion Studies. This year, we are particularly proud of the Fashion for Dementia initiative, which demonstrates how fashion can serve as a platform for social advocacy. It serves as a powerful reminder of art’s role in shaping discussions and promoting understanding within our community,” said Sabrina Long, Dean of Faculty of Art & Design, NAFA.
Fashion for Dementia features a “Down the Lane” collection which explores themes of memory and nostalgia through fashion, shedding light on the importance of support for those living with dementia. Besides the Fashion for Dementia showcase, students from NAFA Fashion Studies will also present a runway show that showcases culture, identity, and personal transformation. These works underscore the diverse creative approaches of NAFA’s emerging fashion designers as they embark on their professional journeys.
