Commissioned by the National Arts Council, NAFA brings together the works of 38 Cultural Medallion recipients in the Visual Arts in a commemorative publication and exhibition. This momentous undertaking coincides with Singapore’s 50th anniversary and celebrates our cultural heroes - the nation’s most esteemed artists. Conferred by the President of Singapore, the Cultural Medallion recognises artists of high artistic merit, who have contributed significantly to enrich and shape Singapore’s cultural landscape. This prestigious exhibition includes works by illustrious artists of our time, such as painter Lim Tze Peng, ceramist Iskandar Jalil and performance artist, Lee Wen.
