Physical Theatre Performance at Singapore Heritage Festival

Led by Programme Leader (Learning Enhancement) Grace Leong, 8 students and alumni from Theatre and Dance were commissioned to devise (Dis)Integration – Physical Theatre Performance for the Opening of Singapore Heritage Festival, in partnership with the National Heritage Board. The performances were held on 29 and 30 April 2016, at the National Museum of Singapore.

The performers took inspiration from "The Esplanade from Scandal Point", an oil painting by J.T. Thomson. Performers took the audience through Singapore’s history and presented their personal reflections on the multicultural roots of Singapore society through their artistic practices.
