11 May 2018
Creative Media Studio

In conjunction with the exhibition, Photographic Images and Matter: Japanese Prints of the 1970s, the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts (ISEAA) organised a dialogue session with Mr Noriaki Seo, Curator at the Nagano Prefectural Shinano Art Museum and over 30 students from the School of Art & Design at NAFA. The session, which was moderated by Year 3 Printmaking student, Nelson Nesan, began with a short lecture by Noriaki Seo and delved into a discussion on topics of printmaking practices and how creative concepts are being delivered through the use of print media and materials.

The lecture was followed by presentations made by students from Printmaking and Fashion Studies, sharing the visual elements and concepts of their respective selected artworks.
