Mikail is an aspiring artist-educator based in Singapore, currently pursuing a Diploma in Art Teaching at NAFA. His artistic journey began in secondary school, receiving formal art education since 2014, as well as studying theatre at TMJC from 2017 to 2019.
At NAFA, while he continues to dabble in other mediums such as painting and installations, as well as honing his skills in teaching through the NIE modules and his internship position as an art instructor, Mikail remains obsessed with marrying his theatrical and artistic backgrounds. This culminated in a live performance art in 2025, which featured as the opening programme for the 册(cè)rita interim exhibition for his final year project.
Additionally, Mikail gained valuable experience as a curator over the course of his study at NAFA, providing support to the Shophouse Edition: Singapore Art Treasures exhibition in 2024, as well as an active curatorial position for NAFA's Open House, 册(cè)rita and the FYP Grad Show in 2025.
