Mokuma is a dual-use toy that trains a child's dexterity, it comes with a detachable rattle and a sewing toy. The toy comes with a cute appearance of a bear that is aesthetic and pleasing to the eye and is educational but yet fun to play with. It is crafted with Ash & Beech wood with Beeswax & Orange oil that is a natural finishing and child-safe.
Jeli-conia is a set of tools used to create a Japanese delight called Wagashi. It's final form is inspired by the elements of Singapore - Heliconia, a tropical flower and the traditional local delight, Ice Kachang. The tools are made with Ash & Beech wood with mineral oil finishing and Acrylic.
What does it feel to be trapped in a maze? The excitement that lingers and the fear that continuously haunts. Trapped is a two piece collection - Eye patch and Necklace made with UV Resin, Baby Oil and Nylon Ribbon. It is crafted with spheres made with the resin and baby oil injected inside, flowing around the tunnels drilled on each spheres. A feeling of confusion but there is still some 'fun' inside the maze.
Inspired by the Singapore's Helix bridge, it was re-designed into a necklace with the elements of the smooth flowing yet sharp dynamic lines of the bridge. The blue topaz hanging at the necklace's tip is the overall main focus as it represents the desire of seeing Singapore evolve for the better, and clean crystal clear water surrounding this island many call 'home'.
Inspired by the zodiac Capricorn, a mythological half-goat and half-fish creature. To express the lightness in the Capricorn, the lightest medium - tissue paper and kitchen roll was used with resin finishing to strengthen the durability and structure. It is dyed with green, blue and black acrylic ink to symbolize the 'Sea' as the Capricorn is a half-fish and a hint of gold to symbolize 'Earth' as it is the Capricorn's element.
