Memoria is a display typeface dedicated to Salvador Dali. Being one of the greatest surrealist, Dali's influence in this type project is borrowed from his early paintings. This typeface is designed to reflect his legacy and art style into a transmedia approach - type. Suitable for a large scale display and illustrative approach in typography.
"Between Hope and Dreams" is a photo-narrative book of my reflection throughout the one-week study trip in the Philippines. Through different portrayals of subject matter - human interest, landscape and objects, this project encompass the essence of what makes up the community there. Thus, it is to let viewers contemplate on a life they desire to have through observing others.
This is a promotional video for the SMU international students' freshmen camp. Inspired from 'The Greatest Showman', this PV borrows the look and feel from the renowned movie to "create their own circus".
'Spark' is a festival organized to bring back the early 70s Singapore to the current era. This project was initiated as a nostalgia to the silver generations while introducing Singapore history in an engaging way - all the more while providing cross-generation conversation amongst the participants and more. While the 70s theme are dominant in the branding, the modern simplicity idea is still maintained as a juxtaposition between the old and the new.
#WayangZamanNow is a campaign dedicated to bringing wayang kulit in a modern light. Due to lack of cultural awareness, wayang kulit suffers from lack of interest among the youths. Historically, wayang has been a platform for people to criticize the society, hence the historical significance. Through those issue and insight, wayang kulit becomes a symbol to unite people. In the context of modern era, #WayangZamanNow serves as a community building project through type.
