Humant Structure explores the idea of control and acceptance towards our perfectionistic capitalist society. Seeing themselves as the ants on the wall, do viewers want to continue this routine, or do they want to reclaim control?

Today, Tomorrow, and Always explores how the capitalist structure of work and production trapped humans in an endless cycle of no escape. Inspired by office cubicles, this immersive experience prompts audiences to reflect on their current position.

Office

Office is an exploration of how society is trapped within the capitalist cycle of work and repetition which causes us to be isolated from our surroundings and alienated from our own labor.

Hope Exchange

Hope Exchange aims to provide participants with a safe space to experience healing and comfort through words. Participants exchange envelopes of hope and encouragement with one another, creating a cycle of giving and receiving.

Ang Li Ya (b.2000) is a Singaporean artist currently pursuing her Bachelors of Arts (Honours) Fine Art at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts-University of the Arts London. She has exhibited internationally and locally in Flagship Genius Featuring Ayuttthaya IV in 2023, Open Print Exchange in Germany and Japan in 2022, Cook House Exhibition in the United Kingdom in 2022, Moving Plates Exhibition in 2019 and If the World Changed for the Singapore Biennale in 2014. Li Ya graduated with distinction in Diploma in Fine Art in 2021 from NAFA and is also a recipient of the Dean’s List Award for each academic year.
