Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, an esteemed arts institution with a global reputation, seeks an innovative & seasoned Senior Executive Officer/Assistant Manager at the Outreach Team for International Student Recruitment.
The Student Admissions Office (SAO) oversees the enrolment of new Diploma, Bachelor’s, and Master’s students, including local and international applicants from various educational backgrounds. Working closely with local schools and appointed agents, SAO also serves as the secretariat for the Admissions Panel, supporting the pre-selection and final acceptance process.
Roles and Responsibilities
The role involves supporting the international student recruitment efforts of the Outreach Team for International Student Recruitment and ensuring the effective management of appointed education agents. You will play a key role in executing student recruitment strategies, monitoring agent performance, and driving application conversion to meet enrolment targets for the Academy’s Diploma, Bachelor’s, and Master’s programmes.
A core part of your responsibilities includes sourcing and onboarding new agents, coordinating recruitment-related events, and reviewing marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with institutional branding and objectives. You will also be expected to prepare periodic agent reports, manage recruitment budgets, and ensure timely and accurate follow-up on applications, interviews, and acceptances in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
You will represent the Academy in local and overseas education fairs, conduct webinars, and engage prospective students and parents through campus tours and consultations. Working closely with the Reporting Officer (RO) and other departments, you will propose and refine recruitment strategies, update leadership on market trends, and ensure timely submission of administrative and performance reports. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and project coordination skills are essential for success in this role.
In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate marketing records, vetting agent promotional materials, preparing appointment papers and contracts, and ensuring compliance with internal policies. You will also support internal reporting processes, including contributions to senior management reports and organising annual agent meetings to review performance and plan forward strategies.
Requirements
- You should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, preferably in student recruitment within the arts or higher education sector.
- A proven track record in leading and managing student recruitment initiatives, with strong leadership and coordination skills to support team performance and strategic goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including students, parents, agents, and academic departments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with initiative, while also contributing collaboratively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.v
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools, platforms, and social media channels to enhance outreach and student engagement efforts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess recruitment data and market trends to inform decision-making and planning.
