Job Category/Programme: Administrative
Description
Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, an esteemed arts institution with a global reputation, seeks an innovative & seasoned Executive Officer at the Outreach Team for International Student Recruitment.
The Outreach Team for International Student Recruitment (OTIS) plays a pivotal role in planning and organizing outreach activities both within Singapore and internationally. Our primary goal is to attract international student applications for our diploma, bachelor’s, and master’s degree programs. We achieve this by engaging directly with international schools, both locally and overseas, and through partnerships with recruitment agents and other channels. OTIS conducts various activities, including inbound and outbound presentations for schools, their teachers, counsellors, and families. Additionally, we organize competitions, auditions, and workshops to identify and attract talented students. Our team recruits and manages a network of approved recruitment agencies and their student counsellors. We work closely with the academic faculty and the Student Admissions Office (SAO) to ensure we attract quality students to apply to NAFA.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will play a key role in driving student enrolment targets, optimizing application conversion rates, and enhancing relationships with stakeholders.
In addition, the incumbent will coordinate inbound and outbound workshop requests from overseas agents, schools, and other partner organisations. This entails liaising with faculty, estate management, alumni relations, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth facilitation and execution of such visits and engagements. You will work closely with the outreach team and the academic faculties to drive student recruitment strategies and participate in outreach and campaign activities to drive applications and business growth.
You will also be tasked to conduct and lead campus tours, participate in Zoom consultations with prospective agents, students, and parents, and manage walk-in enquiries to enhance engagement. You will coordinate the preparation and provision of brochures and corporate gifts for overseas visits and international guests, ensuring brand consistency and readiness. You will also follow up closely with agents on student prospect lists, pre-interview briefings, and post-interview engagement to sustain applicant interest and support conversion outcomes.
We are looking for a sales-driven, highly motivated, proactive, resilient and good team player to join our dynamic team. You must be willing to travel internationally and able to work on weekends when required.
Requirements
- You should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience in a sales-related or customer-facing role.
- You should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented, warm, and professional approach when engaging stakeholders.
- You should be self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently under pressure, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- You should be a meticulous and analytical team player with good problem-solving, critical thinking, and IT skills to support operational and business objectives.
- You should be technologically adept, with working knowledge of digital tools, including AI applications, social media marketing platforms, and design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Meta Business Suite), to support outreach and content creation initiatives.
