In collaboration with leading material supplier Lam Chuan, students from the Diploma in Design (Furniture and Spatial) and Diploma in Design (Object and Jewellery) programmes embarked on an exciting client project. Exploring thematic briefs, they conducted in-depth research on the properties of laminates and meticulously selected textures and samples. Through experimentation, the students crafted final prototypes in the form of objects, jewellery, or furniture pieces, demonstrating the practical application of their research and creative concepts.
The unique works were showcased at NAFA Campus 1, along Bencoolen Street from 21 September to 10 October 2023, in conjunction with DesignSingapore Council's Singapore Design Week. View the showcase here!
