Sabrina Koh is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice is situated between the spatial, performative and textual, where she examines the paradoxes and contradictions inherent in society. Her professional interests in gendered leadership in the arts and education informs her redefinition and re-evaluation of contemporary pedagogy and relooks into the fluidity of curriculum design and mentorship in today’s learning environment.

She works primarily with performances but also includes installation and writing. She founded the creative label sabkoh and is the creative director behind inter-D label, formerly known as bang.and.sew, a local art editorial production. She has performed and exhibited at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (Thailand), Undisclosed Territory (Solo, Indonesia), Performer Stammtisch (Berlin, Germany), as well as Singapore Art Museum and Esplanade - Theatres by the Bay in Singapore. Her recent works were presented at OUTSIDER (Fashion Art Festival) and Artbox, as an extended outreach to the wider community.

Alongside her practice and research, Sabrina is also engaged in pedagogic enquiry relating to curriculum development in her role as Vice Dean of Fine Art. As an established educator, coach and mentor, aside from affiliated organisations, she works with young art and design graduates from the Southeast Asian region to establish their individual personal and professional interests, creating entry points to reposition, shift, reflect and imagine new contexts for the society and world.
